'Titanic' at Amsterdam ExpoExhibitions / Amsterdam
14 November - 11 May, 9am - 6pm (9pm on Fridays)
The sinking of RMS Titanic was one of the most dramatic and tragic shipwrecks in recent history.
Now, over 100 years after the tragedy took place, Amsterdam Expo hosts a full exhibition on the event.
The exhibit contains fascinating relics and reveals countless stories of courage and humanity aboard the Titanic.
RMS Titanic was the largest and most prestigious ship ever to have set sail. More than two thousand people were on board the luxury "unsinkable" cruise liner when it sank, including members of the aristocracy and even royalty from various countries.
Amsterdam Expo's exhibition features artifacts recovered from diving expeditions, offering a glimpse into the reality behind the headlines and Hollywood movie.
It lets visitors learn more about the sinking on countless levels - what were the personal stories, emotional consequences and technical faults behind the sinking?
This exhibition has already toured around the world and has been seen by 25 million visitors.
