From the 16th till the 30th of March, Gallery LokaalWV15 will present new works from painters Sabrina Tacci and Barbara Rink, and photographer Vassilis Triantis.
Sabrina Tacci
Sabrina Tacci is an Italian painter whose artistic adventure began in Tuscany where her family moved to when she was 8 years old. She studied later on in the "Accademia di Belle Arti" (Art Academy) of Carrara.
Sabrina moved to Holland in 2004 where she currently lives and works. She has had exhibitions in Italy, Spain, Germany and Holland and her works are in private collections worldwide.
Barbara Rink
Barbara Rink is an Amsterdam based painter. Her paintings and drawings are small universes consisting of fleeting dream images, traces of other worlds, landscapes, inner dimensions and abstract spaces. They are an odd mix of nostalgia, contemporary visual language and romanticism.
Since 2000 Barbara has had solo and group exhibitions in Holland, UK, Scotland and Italy.
Vassilis Triantis
Born in Greece, Vassilis Triantis is currently living in Amsterdam. A self-taught photographer whose images serve as a trigger for thought and free associations, a starting point for a dialogue between the photographer and the viewer.
With his series "Continuum," he tried to go beyond a static approach to photography and include duration in images that extend in time.
About the exhibition
The opening of the exhibition is on Saturday, March 16 at 4pm. The gallery can also be visited on March 17, 23, 24 and 30 from 2pm till 5pm.
