Sleeping Beauty at Het MuziektheaterDance / Amsterdam

This Yuletide, one of the most beautiful examples of classical ballet will be playing in Amsterdam’s Muziektheater.
"The Sleeping Beauty" was composed by Tchaikovsky in 1890 and remains one of the great treasures of the Russian Imperial Ballet.
It tells the story of beautiful princess Aurora, who is doomed to sleep for a hundred years unless a prince can awaken her with a kiss.

This performance of "The Sleeping Beauty" is produced and directed by Sir Peter Wright, a highly acclaimed and influential figure in European theatre.
It has already won countless accolades from international critics, with The Telegraph stating that "this enchanting fairytale ballet gleams like a timeless jewel"!
