About "Sleeping Beauty"
Cursed at birth by the evil fairy Carabosse, Princess Aurora falls into a deep sleep on the day of her 16th birthday. Only a kiss from a prince will be able to wake her. Since its premiere in 1890, this ballet, based on the classic fairytale by Charles Perrault, has entertained audiences for generations.
With music composed by Tchaikovsky, "Sleeping Beauty" is one of the most popular and established choreographic works from the classical repertoire. This version, choreographed by Yuri Grigorovich, will enchant the whole family during the holiday season.
