Dutch museums

According to the Dutch Embassy, the Netherlands has the highest museum density in the entire world. Apparently, displaying all 1.000 is neither easy nor practical. Fortunately, the AD Museumtest offers a ranking list of the top 50 Dutch museums (below).

If you plan on visiting a lot of the internationally renowned Dutch museums, getting the museumkaart is a must. With around 40 euros (22,45 euros up to 24 years old) you can enter more than 400 museums all over the Netherlands for free!
