About the exhibition
Arnold Newman (1918-2006) captured images of well known actors, artists and politicians, making him one of the most influential portrait photographers of the 20th century.
The American photographer gave his portraits more character by incorporating the subject’s personal surroundings and thus, Newman is credited as the father of environmental portraiture.

I would like to photograph Annie Leibovitz, who is - in my opinion - the best living portrait photographer in the world. Her compelling storytelling, sometimes ingenuously simplistic and sometimes elaborately sophisticated, was the reason I became a photography enthusiast.
Casper, the friendly ghost, as it will be a challenge to capture him on picture.
Jonny Depp, as he is both beauty and intelligence captered in one single person.
Princess Maxima, she's a great inspiration for all the expat here In Holland.
