International shows at the Wintercircus

The world’s best circus performers dazzle crowds in Amsterdam, The Hague, Utrecht and Maastricht during the Wintercircus. These international shows are annually visited by over 100.000 spectators, and offer a balanced mix of strong performances, choreography and presentation. The magical atmosphere of the circus has become a pivotal part of the Dutch Christmas holidays. Fantastic acts by human cannon balls, motor stunt drivers and acrobats are sure to create a unique family experience you’ll never forget.

Performers per city

Every Wintercircus presents over 20 international performers brimming with show and spectacle. Here is a sneak peek of some interesting performers per city:

• Wintercircus Amsterdam

In Amsterdam, comedy and acrobatics are key elements of the performance!
- Fumagalli
Fumagalli is a world famous clown who has won many awards.
- Trio Sarkozi
These jugglers from Budapest present a modern and tricky act.
- Troupe Bingo
Troupe Bingo performs spectacular group tableaus full of acrobatics, dance and beautiful costumes.

• Wintercircus Utrecht

In Utrecht, the performance is all about romance and humour!
- Herkules
The strong man Herkules allows himself to be run over by a van and catches a cannon ball mid flight.
- Celine Moreno
Famous French aerial rope artist Moreno performs up high with rare and dangerous moves.
- Louis and Ilona Knie
Two horse whisperers perform charming dressage with beautiful mounts.

• Wintercircus The Hague

Risk and spectacle are prevalent in the Wintercircus in The Hague!
- Robin Valencia
Daredevil Valencia is the only female human cannon ball in Europe.
- Aerial Spheres
Sensational contortionists twist and fly in mysterious floating orbs.
- Veslovskis
This high-paced and futuristic roller skating act is full of thrills!

• Maastricht

The Maastricht Wintercircus presents a completely new all-international show with a live orchestra and show ballet!
- Robles
Motorcyclists challenge the Globe of Speed.
- Alain Alegria
This Washington trapeze artist shows great balance and guts.
- Vegas Showgirls
The showgirls dance ballet with gorgeous costumes and festive choreographies.
