Canvas
Canvas is located on the 7th floor of the former Volkskrantgebouw building (Dutch newspaper). What used to be a place to eat your lunch and discuss journalism is now a booming club, restaurant and exhibition place with a terrific view.
Canvas is open daily; lunch is served between 11am and 4pm and dinner between 6pm and 10pm.
Canvas is ideal for people looking for a relaxed environment with a great panoramic view. On Friday and Saturday nights (around 10pm or 11pm), dinner tables make place for the dance floor and the restaurant is transformed into a club to celebrate the weekend!
Exhibitions in Canvas rotate frequently and many of the exhibits are usually also for sale. If you are interested, you can always ask canvas' staff for more information about the artist / exhibitor or take a look at the web site.
