Thanks Rosie,
Yes we love Singapore, and every visit is too short...and all the fabulous out of the way places are not "advertised" abroad nearly enough. So many new foodie treats to see and try LOL, it's all good !
At least the Haagse Markt has a good selection of international food... ok, not nearly all of it naturally but it's a start ![]()
Yup, lots of places to see and eat, good to have a local to bring you around like you did.
Most are not advertised as they are not in "downtown" more towards suburbs and local eateries or sometimes even great western cafe in the suburbs. Great food around. Also many more places to visit which is also not advertised..
Only the adventurous tourists loves to do the "off the beaten track" after ticking the usual tourist attractions. ![]()
Some people do not like Singapore because it's too much of a city compared to the neighbouring countries where people like the old historical background, the country side, the old charm etc as people see Asia as old school so the expectation is not for a high technology country like Singapore
When they visit Singapore they are shocked to see how well developed and advanced it is than in their own country.
Oopps! this topic was supposed to be about cooking! ![]()
It's about foodie places and so that's fine I think LOL
If you have any recommendations for places to see " off the beaten track " in S'pore then I've love to hear them because this is our favourite stopover point on our way to New Zealand and I will be there again in about 18 months.
Got maybe some good tips for places to lunch?
Thanks!!!
Yes. Will email you soon
