› EU nationals may import limitless goods for personal use only.
› Non-EU citizens may contact the Customs Information Line (0800 0143) to check if there are limits on the quantity of goods they plan on bringing along. As a rule, you may import:
- 200 cigarettes / 250 grams of tobacco / 50 cigars / 100 cigarillos
- 2 litres of (non) sparkling wine
- 50 grams of perfume
- 0,25 liters of eau de toilette
- 500 grams coffee / 200 grams coffee essense or extracts
- 100 grams tea / 40 grams tea essense or extracts
› Fluid containers may be carried on board as long as they contain less than 100 grams and are placed in a transparent, zip-lock bag.
› If you wish to bring your pet to the Netherlands (dog, cat or ferret), the following documents must be presented:
- European pet passport (for EU citizen owners)
- valid health certificate (authorised veterinary surgeon)
- rabies certificate (at least 21 days prior to departure)
› There is not limit in the amounts of money one can bring.
› Travellers’ cheques are accepted throughout the Netherlands.
› Cash machines can be found at banks, post offices, supermarkets and airports.
