Expat Employee Rights
A variety of issues concerning your employment rights may be affected while working abroad in the Netherlands. Due to the recent financial crisis, many expats now have contracts previously tailored for local staff only.
Dutch law is applicable to expat contracts and changes in your contract, your non-competition clause and what happens in the event of dismissal. Employment law specialist Godelijn Boonman will provide practical guidance regarding expat employment rights.
Life’s changes can create confusing legal implications especially while living abroad.
Entering into a relationship, starting a family, getting divorced or the death of a family member can legal misunderstandings for expats. Family law specialist Marjet van Yperen-Groenleer will provide guidance in these sensitive areas of law.
