The original Hackers & Founders started in Silicon Valley, USA in 2008 by fans of Hacker News. Hackers and Founders meetups have since been taking place in New York, Indianapolis, Wellington, New Zealand, Boston and Mumbai.
The goal is to create an open-source and to disrupt the process of forming teams, founding start-ups, accessing capital and learning everything about building start-ups from coding to business operations.
