IamExpat is currently looking for an ambitious editor to join our team in Amsterdam!

About You
 Excellent written and interpersonal communication skills
 Comfortable working in a collaborative, international environment
 Demonstrate respect and an appreciation for diverse communities
 Self-responsible, team-oriented and enthusiastic

About the position
 News research, editing and writing
 Editorial planning
 Proofreading
 Article writing and editing
 Other duties and projects as assigned

Requirements 

 Fluency in English (speaking and writing) to native level or equivalent; Good command of Dutch is a plus
 Research skills
 Bachelor's or master's degree in journalism or related field, and / or experience as a writer or editor is appreciated
 Affinity with social media and viral marketing
 Solid computer skills. Basic knowledge of Word and Excel. Experience with CMS (Content Management System) also a plus.

 Type: Internship or Part time (depends on experience and qualifications)
 Starting date: February 1, 2013
 Commitment: 20 - 28 hours per week
 Place: Amsterdam
 Compensation: Depends on experience and qualifications
