Mockumentary shows Utrecht cyclists in natural habitat

Utrecht enjoyed some time on the world’s stage this year as the host city of the Tour de France Grand Départ. Inspired, a group of local filmmakers took the chance to show just how deep the love of cycling runs in their city - so deep, in fact, that inhabitants have evolved wheels!

The film "BIKE - The amazing world of cyclists in Utrecht" from BLIK filmcommunicatie takes a mock wildlife documentary perspective on the city’s bike culture. Residents of the Netherlands are likely to recognise the "types" of cyclists profiled.
